‘American Union’ is a documentary that intimately follows a group of courageous families in small-town Alabama. From the auto manufacturing plants and coal mines to the Amazon warehouses, these families are the backbone of a growing movement for better jobs and working conditions in Alabama, the birthplace of the Civil Rights Movement. Their resolve, hope, struggles, and triumphs, which helped ignite the labor movement across the nation, are at the heart of this film.
